About Mansour

I am currently working at Pinterest as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focusing on Generative AI content detection, distribution, and personalization for more than 580M Pinterest's MAUs.
Before Pinterest, I was a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Unity where I worked on Unity Ads platform and led the App Event team. My team was resposible for developing and serving ML models to predict whether users do specific actions in the app such as registering, completeting a specific level in the game or purchasing a specific item.
Before Unity, I was a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at a startup named AltaML where I lead multiple teams of ML engineering working on variety of ML problems with a focus on NLP, enterprise chatbots, FinTech and MLOps.
I got my M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Alberta in 2019 with a focus on task-oriented chatbots using Transformer architecture.
My main areas of expertise and interest are Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), MLOps, Generative AI, and AdTech.

I did my undergraduate studeis in Electrical Engineering at the University of Tehran , the most prestigious university in Iran.

I was born in Yazd, a beautiful city in the middle of a desert in Iran! (Did you know Yazd in an ancient city inscribed on World Heritage Center!? See some cool pictures of it here )
I received my diploma in Physics and Mathematics discipline from Shahid Sadoughi High School, under the supervision of NODET (National Organization for Developing Exceptional Talents).
